after a Ventous delivery - I had an episiotomy and some tearing.?

Just wondering if anyone can tell me how was after a similar experience. I am 3 weeks post birth and had both internal and internal stitches on the episiotomy which don't hurt anymore, but the tearing at the front of my still twinges. I am going to wait until after the 6 week check up, but am very keen to have again after that, as I don't want it to become an issue. Would it be a good idea to start with oral & fingers? My basic plan is to get very drunk and take it slowly to start with. Any thoughts or experiences?
