Does fear in oneself create fear in others?

Absolutely. Fear, like many base emotions can be sensed, felt, percieved and can influence others emotions (even when they are unaware of it's nature or origin). Fear, for instance can be sensed on a very primal level: It can be percieved to mean a variety of more complex emotions. It can result in anothers unexplainable mistrust of the person who is afraid. It can also trigger agression in another fearful mind, or encourage agression from a preditory mind. (Like a mugger or rapist who is spurred into violence by their victims' impression of mistrust or weekness and shut down by a would be victims confidence stemming from a total absence of fear.)
