I agree with you. I never thought it was him but in all fairness none of us know but still it's did seems really odd the way he was suddenly a suspect although he claimed to have witnessed actually seeing Jo which makes no sense. I think though because he apparently contradicted himself, (from what I read) then this gave them reason to suspect him which maybe fair because I guess it could do no harm. It might have actually given them important information so we don't know. I definitely think he probably didn't want to get involved, not necessarily rightly though because he does own the flats and lived directly above Jo. I think they should now leave him to get on with his life though, we have seen his face now so even it was him then we sure no what he looks like, in my opinion there are more obvious people who they should be pointing the finger at, I'm not going to mention names but lets say I think closer people Jo spring to mind.
