My mom attacked me and threatened my life.?

My mom attacked me and threatened my life because I care about her. She has put my family in a financial crisis that threatens us to lose our home and everyone is either too blind or ignorant to notice that her negilence in completing paperwork on time, hoarding, and self-righteousness is putting us in danger of losing everything we own. My father and me have tried in vain to get her to see the error.s of her ways but she won't listen. Every time I come I always have to hear her whine and complain about the littlest crap that has nothing to do with keeping the peace of her family. More and more, she's trying to get me to handle what should be her responsibilities and she is a healthy woman with no physical hinderances. She's becoming worse throughout the months and I just couldn't take it anymore. I told her why and how she was having such difficulties in her life and she blew up and got in my face that she was the mom and she would do as I has her or get out. I then told her that I was moving with my grandmother and then all of a sudden she attacked me and I was trying to get her off me which resulted in me getting a sprained knee, twisted ankle and scrathes and small bruises on my arm which she said I brought on myself and that she will do worse if I continue to disobey her? I have dealt with her verbal and emotional abuse for as long as I can remember and have dealt with before but this was the first time I felt that my life could be in danger if I continue to stay around her. Should I call the police and get a restraining order?
