When are people going to realize that crime is commited with ilegal firearms?

In the wake of the past day's VT shooting I have heard so many dumb people say that how many more do we need until we have stricter gun laws etc. This strikes me dumb founded by the gravity of their ignorance. First off all most all crimes in America are committed with illegal firearms. Just like their are illegal drugs. No amount of banning something will keep them off the street. The criminals will just find a way to procure or produce firearms. Second taking legally owned possessed and carried firearms away from law abiding citizens is the worst mistake possible. This would mean that criminals who have illegal arms bought out of a trunk of some ones car could easily kill rob and torture any one and no one could stop them you would have armed vigilante groups trying to fight back and it would wear police thin just trying to keep up Crime rates would go down if criminals were afraid to rob a bank if everyone had a gun. Stop trying to blame gun owners like me for idiot’s actions
